Question for humans: It's your birthday. Someone gives you a calfskin wallet. How do you react?

Well I wouldn’t be rude as it’s the thought that counts.

I'd be quite happy, I've an antique crocskin wallet in my bag currently.

I would tell them Thank You. I believe that s the correct response when someone gives you a gift.

I thank them, as I'm sure that they mean well.

Who is this person, and how do they know my birthday?
I throw the calf-skin wallet down on the ground in disgust, and proceed to follow them to extract this information.

I thank them. Depending upon how I feel, I might ask to return it. I would not purchase something like that made from a calf. I have specific preferences for wallets and purses.

Aks them how did they know I needed a new wallet and why did they buy me a wallet?

Usually I'm very picky about my wallets

Funny thing, I can’t think of anyone who would give me such a gift, because everyone’s sensitive about that.
