I am getting a little back this year. Whoop!

It's always so stressful when you start a new job.

Not only do i owe, i owe for more than my income alliws! I gotta pay 125 dollars per each job worked to file, then 500 dolkars federal, 475 dollars state . My income has no dependants, i cabt get food stamps, and i have 2 make ends meet by only pay half on 3 bills , electric, water, gas, then 1/4 of the hospitol bills and a phone bill. This surmounts all bills growing and by tge tine i worked my pay week, rents due. Yeah governments suck in my opinions. But everyone who has power n money doesn't seem to care. Food costs almost as much as a week of one two week paycheck from work ! Tell me how to fix a broken economy when us hard working citizens get nothing, but are ESPECIALLY EXSPECTED to do good? Im all for paying my bills, but why cost more to live and raise prices so high we eork till death or even cause our bodies harm? Ludicrous i tell ya. Absolutely absurd .

@CloudAngel80 Spend wisely my friend. Use as many resources as you can. And save what you can. Good luck. And Happy New Year. 🌞🌞🌞
what's this tax refund you speak of
@MarineBob for sure but be late paying your taxes
MarineBob · 56-60, M
@saragoodtimes we pay interest and fines but they're exempt
@MarineBob 5% per month up to 25%
Repete · 61-69, M
The government doesn’t “give” you anything really. Usually you get money back because to much was taken out of your income in the first place, so you get back some of what you have already paid in.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Repete Of course they do. That's why it's in the contract. Otherwise we wouldn't work because we don't have to. ☺️

@Zonuss ok 🙃

My mistake I thought I read, you work hard to pay our salaries, a little might go to infrastructure and minor health issues and in rare occasions we will throw you a bone , that is raise minimum wage so you make more money so you can pay us more and the circle goes around and round.

I thought I saw that clause in the contract . 🙃

@Repete Some of us work and get money on the side. Not everyone is part of the Matrix. ☺️

The ideal tax payment/refund is $0, but we all know how hard that is. I could have done better, but I am getting back the money I'm owed.

@thenormalkindofcrazy Great. ☺️

Every year i get federal and state money back, sometimes i have to pay city tax.
Like2play · M
@Ramrod or do you just overpay and get some returned?
Ramrod · 46-50, M
@Like2play Im not really sure,i would have to ask my tax person.
Oster1 · M
I get credits when I give or lose. I wouldn't say, that is a refund, in accounting.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Oster1 Ok.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
I never get refunds as I don't give interest free loans
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@MarineBob You're fine. ☺️👍
Nayla · 51-55, F
I haven’t had a refund since I was 22
Like2play · M
Always pay.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Like2play As long as you're doing well financially it's ok.
DDonde · 31-35, M
I've gotten money back past few years. I'll see if I still do this year.
