I absolutely hate the commercialism of it disguised as anything deeper, and the social pressure to have to pretend to get on with people you don't even like, and worst, that every fucking thing in England seems to be bloody closed as if it really matters. Close to enforced imprisonment is the closest word I can find for it.

I do. I still like it. As an adult, it becomes just another series of tasks, but I remember what it was like to have that sense of wonder as a kid. That's never leaving me.
