Do you celebrate Thanksgiving or not ? 🥧🥧🥧

Of course we know by now that US history is often fabricated. I understand why a Native American person would be offended by this holiday. Nevermind the privilege and benefits they may have today. The truth is that we need not try to tell others how they should feel about their past. More often than not some still feel the pain of the past and the current issues with race today, only pours salt on the wound. 🧂
The Natives are a forgotten people.
We should never forget what they have endured regardless of what you are personally.
Do you celebrate Thanksgiving ?
If so, then why or why not. 🤔

I celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. These have become family holidays, not celebrations of past events. I don’t think about pilgrims on Thanksgiving or Jesus at Christmas. I think about my family and what it means to be together.

@Jill1990 Yes. It's important to celebrate things and focus on family.
