Of course we know by now that US history is often fabricated. I understand why a Native American person would be offended by this holiday. Nevermind the privilege and benefits they may have today. The truth is that we need not try to tell others how they should feel about their past. More often than not some still feel the pain of the past and the current issues with race today, only pours salt on the wound. 🧂 The Natives are a forgotten people. We should never forget what they have endured regardless of what you are personally. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving ? If so, then why or why not. 🤔

It’s another holiday. Personally I am not big on the “feast/food” aspect of it.
I look at this country supposedly a great one and look at the major cities with massive homelessness ( but get suddenly cleaned up for visits by foreign leaders-SF) and other issues and areas where our “ leaders” can do better but choose not to. In that respect I try and remember those less fortunate,,ergo…just another day.
