What would you like to ask an author if you had the chance to meet them? What answer would you hope to receive?
What is your favorite historical fiction series that has a portrayal of Ancient Rome? Why is it your favorite?

I ignored someone who I’ve seen looking at me with disgust I seen out the corner of my eye. The person sees me again and stares at me from afar with disgust. Why does the person do that?

When the UK was in 'Lockdown' at the height of covid, one of my favourite Authors did a weekly live chat.
People got to ask questions on his writing and story structure etc. and he'd explain how the story came to be; the editing process and how that can change the whole intent of a story and how as an Author you have to learn to accept that as part of the process.

It was insightful and interesting but kinda sad in that we discovered the stories aren't based on personal experience nor are the characters based on people he knew (so he said)
