@GlitterEater Yes I still believe it’s not racist. Some people don’t have their priorities in line and that’s the reason why they don’t have an ID. Or if the parents never taught them how important it is to carry ID and keep up with it and other important documents. You have caused your kids to be denied for everything and have limit them from having any privileges all Americans have access to like buying a reliable car, buying a house, and major adult things like that. They will forever have to live a life of flying under the radar because they’re gonna get denied for everything they do.
If they did want to buy a car or a house, they would have to go with a hole in the wall dealership or buy houses from slumlords. And so you will always be stuck living in a trashy environment just because you didn’t wait in line and paid five bucks to go get an ID.

@GlitterEater Your kids will pretty much be treated like felons just because they don’t have an ID. When you’re a felon it’s hard for you to get ahead and do much of anything and when you don’t have an ID it’s hard for you to get ahead and do much of anything too.

The laws are racist because the people who want to have the laws believe they will disproportionately hurt minorities and young people. Nothing you are saying seems to be a response to that.

@GlitterEater I think it’s because many minorities don’t have an ID. That’s why people think voter ID hurts minorities when it does but it’s not because of these white Christians. It’s because a lot of minorities don’t have an ID 🤷🏿‍♀️ Simple as that

Because if they want to they can change the cycle and do something about it if they think something is racist it doesn’t have to stay racist. They can make voter ID not racist by simply getting an ID

@TurtleEclipseOfTheHeart The argument is that it's racist because it's put in place to disproportionately affect minorities. The argument isn't that it is racist because minorities can't get IDs. You aren't addressing the argument, you're engaging with a straw man.

@GlitterEater I didn’t say that they can’t get an ID. Im pointing out that they don’t go out of their way to obtain one. And the only reason why it’s affecting minorities is again they don’t have IDs

@GlitterEater It’s easy to on this one because1, I’m a minority and 2, I have an ID. And so I’m not affected because I have everything that I need to vote
