Wow. I haven't met the same pregnant women you have, thank goodness.
I agree, they can become irritable at times, especially near the end of the pregnancy, but that's because they are getting impatient and excited and likely hurting all over. Most of the pregnant women I've known are happily excited and looking forward to being a mommy.

@Kawaii: no it doesn't have to hurt, and it's only scary if you have no idea about pregnancy. If you educate yourself and get a good midwife, there's no need for fear.

@ShockWave1983: I'm sure it will hurt giving birth to one... especially with their big heads. (at least in ultrasounds they have big heads)

@Kawaii:sure it can be painful, but there are medications to help with that. The pain is the most forgettable part of having a baby.

@Kawaii: not the local anesthetics. Like the epidural. It just numbs mom from the outside. No pain, just a feeling of pressure.
