Do you trust law enforcement?

They did a great job of arresting me. They earned my trust.

Yea, sure there are a lot of bad cops out there, and even the good ones make mistakes sometimes, but in the end the majority of law enforcement officials really do care and are just trying to do their job like everyone else

Some, some are egotistical pricks. I've never known one that didn't have a cop mentality and that means desensitized and dehumanizing.

#1 rule about cops, they lie. Never tell them anything that you're not legally required to do. You're also legally allowed to deny them your ID unless they have probable cause to arrest you. You can also just walk (don't run) away.

The judicial system is utterly broken and should be torn up and started a new. It's massively racist and the US is a world leader in incarceration rates. It doesn't make us safer than other places with fewer prisoners and it is massively expensive to keep so many people in jail.

No , seeing how they are armed now and their attitude of them being the Boss of All. I am not trusting cops. Out the window is that line "to serve and protect" It is more "We shoot and drill you with questions"!

No. Good cops are in the minority, just like good people are in the minority.

For the most part, but I've never been arrested so I have no real experience with that side of the coin. I have a family member that is a detective and he is a really great human being, but I do know there are shady cops out there just like in the civilian world.

It depends upon the situation. Most with whom I have interacted have been decent. However, I know the limits of what they can compel one to do or answer. I did run across one who was a bully with a badge who didn't like the limits I put on our interaction.

In general, not really. I don't think they're generally bad people who abuse their power, I just don't quite trust them.

I trust most cops. I've had to rely on them a few times. Not so much the judicial system :/
