Do u believe that Cleopatra was a Black woman ? 👑

In case you haven't heard there was a movie about the legendary Cleopatra herself. Which was organized and produced partly by Jada Pinkett Smith. Now his has caused a great uproar on social media of all places. Can you imagine that. So the, the so called Egyptians are trying to sue the entertainment streaming giant known as Netflix. What do you think about this latest news. Some say that Cleopatra
was Greek. Some say she was Roman. Some say she was Arab. I believe she was a mixed race woman myself. Like a Greek
mixed with African. But why does it matter ? It doesn't matter to me. I could care less, as this is nothing more than another distraction.
And those who have small minds will get so wrapped up into it until they lose their minds. Anyway, do you believe that Cleopatra was a Black woman.

Ceinwyn · 26-30, F
No, she was greek, like the rest of the Ptolemy.
Josh1454 · M
I agree that she was mixed race. People will say she was Greek and leave it at that. Her father was Greek but we know nothing about her mother. On other sites when I’ve said she was mostly likely mixed race and given my argument as to why, they have argued that she was white because you could see it in the statues and paintings of her. Despite the fact that most of the statues made of her that we have now were made almost 100 years after her death at the earliest. One even said you could tell from the coins. This is the example of the coin.

I can tell you this. You cannot tell the race of this person by that coin as there are 2 people and they look almost identical. As for the statues.

They look like they could be any race. Most likely her father, Ptolemy XII (Auletes), probably did the normal thing of the time and had a child with a local family of power in order to ingratiate himself to the people as his child would be part of the people. I’ve even seen people argue about the fact that North African people are not black. Despite the fact that Egypt borders Sudan. The actress playing Cleopatra is mixed race and most likely looked more like Cleopatra than Elizabeth Taylor did.

@Josh1454 Cleopatra V was her mother. Her family liked keeping the bloodlines pure, which is why they engaged in incest
Josh1454 · M
@SW-User even that isn’t certain. If you look into it, it says most likely and that her mother could’ve been the half-sister of Ptolemy XII. There’s no assurances. The issue that I’m talking about is that when you’re dealing with history that is 2000 years old there’s a lot of inferring being done. Yes they are educated guesses but they can be wrong as well. A lot of her story was destroyed by Octavian. So most of the history was then passed down orally until they wrote it down years later. Essentially what I’m saying is, and I did state this before, there is a high chance she looked more like the current actress portraying her than any if the other actresses. Also, I didn’t learn this from reading online. I actually studied Greek history in university because I’ve lived Greek history since I was 8 years old.

@Josh1454 if she was from a Macedonian Greek family, how is it likely she looked like the actress currently playing her? You are aware that Greek people are white, not black?

It's strongly believed that her mother was Cleopatra V and she was the half sister of his father. There is no reason to believe otherwise...the chances of her being half black are extremely low, and even if there was reason to question the maternal heritage...why would we assume black? In all liklihood it would be another person with Greek ancestry, like a Greek mistress or concubine.
These people must have really been upset when Cleopatra was played by Elizabeth Taylor. Not to mention Breakfast at Tiffany’s when Mickey Rooney played a Japanese character.

@LeopoldBloom We are living in the age of wokism now. Things are not the same. And social media has definitely been the reason for that.
@Zonuss Can you define "wokism?"

"Woke" started in the Black community in the 1960s. Someone who was "woke" understood that many of the issues facing that community were not simply due to personal decisions, but institutional racism. Today, conservatives have co-opted the term to mean basically the same thing, except they don't admit that institutional racism still exists. So someone who is "woke" according to Ron DeSantis is someone who wants to blame white people unfairly for a racist system that only exists in liberals' imaginations.

Does it really matter? She was Egyptian, wasn't she? Was Anwar Sadat Black? Hosni Mubarak? Cleopatra almost certainly wasn't caucasian like Elizabeth Taylor.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@graphite Thanks for your response.

Doesn’t matter, except to those who think that Macedonians were irish
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User Why do you say that.
Torsten · 36-40, M
there is zero evidence to support her being black.
SW-User
@Zonuss why do you want to make other people black?
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User Listen my little Jewish challah. I'm not saying she was Black. She was definitely from the Macedonia family line. We have enough kings and queens to go around for everyone. 😛
SW-User
@Zonuss then don't make silly speculations
Nebula · 41-45, F
I don't think she was but Jesus and Mary were black.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@graphite No. But some act like it does.

She was of Macedonian descent.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@DDonde Ok.
Nomad7 · 26-30, M
She was an Eskimo. And if you removed her clothes, she was just a cold Chinaman
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
The attachment is very interesting. As for Jada Pinkett Smith, the only thing I’d believe coming out of her mouth would be my cock!!
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
@Zonuss I should have been more specific, I was referring to the second attachment, not the trailer!!
I don’t believe anything that comes out of Hollywood!!
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Quimliqer The second attachment was a direct response to those who have a difficult time digesting the raw truth.
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
@Zonuss I understand and that’s why I enjoyed it!!
Alyosha · 31-35, M
Cleopatra was descended from a line of Greeks practicing royal incest called the Ptolemies. Good luck with the black/mixed race fantasies.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Alyosha There's no luck.
They already found her DNA linked to her African mother.
Are you threatened by the truth.
Well my friend there is something that is about to come out soon that will put all lies to shame. Stay tuned. 🙂
