My reaction when someone tries arguing with me that being racist is okay and is part of the first amendment...

I'm not a liberal. I'm talking about people who flat out make racist comments and defend their racist comments with more racism and claim that racism isn't a bad thing.
And no racism is not protected by the 1st.

Uh, yes it does. There's a long legal standing for it. Whether you can accept it is irrelevant. The 1st Amendment does, in fact, protect "racist" speech. Google it yourself if you don't believe me, do some research instead of making ignorant claims.

And I'm seriously questioning the validity of what you consider racist. It sounds like it's just whatever you don't like, just like a liberal.

And I never said racist speech wasn't, I said racism in general such as racist hate crimes which definitely is not protected by the first amendment. Also people on high positions can not make racist comments without being fired or removed from that position, so no not everyone is protected to make racist speeches. Again, I'm not a liberal. People like you like to label other people based on not liking what they say obviously. So how about you rethink your words before making ignorant claims, yeah?

@NaturallyPeculiar: How about you pick an argument and stay consistent? You said nothing about crimes. So, you know you were wrong and now you're changing the argument to avoid admitting it. You also need to educate yourself on what the 1st Amendment is.

I'm not labeling you based on what you say, I am judging the misinformation you're spreading and apparent ignorance on the 1st Amendment. I don't care if that offends you. It is true. You are ignorant. You can either cry about it or fix it. The choice is yours.

Never said it offends me. If you think a stranger disagreeing with me offends me then maybe you're the one with the issues not me. I trust you I am more well informed then someone who jumps quick in labeling people and calling them names. Maybe you should fix yourself before worrying about others.

Correctly identifying someone's behavior and state of being is not an insult. You are dishonest and ignorant when it comes to the 1st Amendment.
