I was watching the news today. 📰
And I have learned that the price of eggs
right now in the US is from 6-8
dollars per dozen. Are you serious ?🙄
I mean I do like eggs, but not that damn much!
I can live without them. 😂
Gee whiz. What do you think about this my fellow SW peeps. Best answer will win. . Got any eggs in your fridge . Scramble mines ok. 🤭 🍳

even at $6 dollars a dozen thats only 50 cents per egg. still a good value. eggs are very nutritious and filling

@Penny And people shouldn't assume that the farmers are the ones getting the increase.
I'm sure they're not seeing any of it they're just paying more and more trying to survive trying to keep us all fed

I could have bought a dozen of eggs from the Dollar Tree a year ago for just $1.

@Zonuss yes, but the way i see it we were just getting them super cheap before. i mean compared to a dollar each for one vegetarian sausage patty its still a good value in my book. anyway, its because of the bird flu. they should go back down eventually.
