In the year 2022, I saved the life of a little girl...☺️🌛

It was a warm summer day here on the beach.
The crowd was out and about as it was a typical day. I believe this was in the month of July. I decided to take a stroll on the sand just for a few minutes of my time. And then I started to walk down the boardwalk to see what was going on. While I was going towards it, I saw this little Hispanic girl who was probably no more than 2 years old.
She had a red dress on with white shoes.
She was just walking down the beach through the dunes all by herself. At first I thought she was being followed by her mom or following someone along. Then I saw that there was noone....I mean noone was even around. 🤔 Nobody saw anything. I was so shocked because everyone of course was laying in the sand for miles and miles. But the dunes behind them blocked them from seeing her. So I went up to her and asked this question. "Are you looking for your mommy and daddy." She said yeah, in a very soft faint voice. I immediately grabbed her hand and walked with her. I glanced over to the left of me, and saw a lifeguard patrol. He was in his truck and I assume he had already gotten word that the little girl was missing. I waved my hand 👏
and he stopped instantly. I told him I found the little girl walking alone. And that she needed to get back with her parents as quickly as possible.
He grabbed her, made a call, and the mother was right there about two minutes later. The father arrived afterwards and he looked visibly upset at his wife. But anyway, everything turned out just fine. She, the little girl, was safe and
sound. I was glad that I was at the right place at the right time. Because the situation could have been a lot worse. I realized that day that this happened for a reason. Because 3 months before that I stopped someone from committing suicide. Not going to get into that though. But you get my point. I love humanity. Comments. ☺️ 🌍

Well done.
Hubs and i did something similar years ago. We were walking along the crowded seafront and this tot...ran in front of us heady straight for the road. We expected a grown upbto be in persuit....but no one was so i called to my husband to run and grab her, which he did just before she stepped on to the road. She didnt make a fuss. She let him hold her, andxwe stoid there for a good 5 minutes expecting someone to appear. We were by a car park, so we began to walk down the centre and eventually, a woman came towards us in a flap. She and her husband both thought the other had already strapped her in the car.
Thinking how that could gave turned out makes my blood run cold. We could have been witnesses to that tot getting run over.
Also, it opened my eyes to how eady it could have been for someone to take that child. She was quite happy while hubs scooped her up, and holding our hands in the car park...and nobody would have thought it weird a young couple strolling with a child....

You did good. Helping a lost little girl find her mom and preventing someone from taking their own life makes you hero in my book.

I often wonder about how the kids I helped eventually grew up. There have been many over many decades.
