No, once I’ve made a decision to let them go, I don’t look back. if they keep hurting me, it might take me some time to come to that decision, it can still hurt and feel like a loss. I can be brutal that way but it’s more self protection. My ex just last week decided after 3 years he wanted to talk, begged for me back, it’s just way too late now, he had many last times, the last time was the last time he had to change it. Said I’ve destroyed his life, he destroyed his own.
