What is your take on "Donald Trump's call for the termination of the Constitution to overturn the 2020 election "?
Trump claims “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” he continued. “Our great ‘Founder’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!” I think it’s a little bit of hyperbole to say he’s calling for the termination of the constitution, but I do think he will completely ignore the constitution if he will benefit. He holds zero reverence to that document.
I saw Pence in an interview about his new book, and he wrote something like Trump thinks one should always take power if one can, even if it’s through beg, borrow, or steal.
He’s sticking with his schtick that he won and there was all sorts of election fraud. It’s the same thing over and over again. Just yesterday I saw a Trump car window sticker that said “Trump won.” Those people are still out there. As usual Trump projects what he actually does, he is a liar and willingly commits fraud.
Amazing no one has tried that ever before. I was just wondering the other day if all attempted or completed assassinations have always been against liberal leaders? I don’t know the history. I know an attempt was made on Reagan, but that wasn’t really political. I know he would have to change the constitution, that’s what I said. We have done it before. We changed the constitution to limit to two terms. Bill Clinton actually felt that more than two should be allowed, but not consecutively, and not for him. He felt he would have to be excluded if it were passed since he endorsed the idea. An amendment may be proposed by a two-thirds vote of both Houses of Congress, or, if two-thirds of the States request one, by a convention called for that purpose. The amendment must then be ratified by three-fourths of the State legislatures, or three-fourths of conventions called in each State for ratification.
I’m not calling it a slam dunk. Don’t take my statement so seriously. My point was there are too many Republicans in office who will go along with any bullshit statement or horrible idea. Like they say, they fall in line. The Constitution, the law, the election, none of it matters. He is infallible. He MUST be President. The way he sees it, nothing else makes sense. Telling him otherwise is like me explaining to you why water must flow uphill. There is no such thing as Trump “seeing the light”. No Judge, Congress or God himself is going to shift that perspective. If Trump is not President, foul play is the only tenable explanation. The very laws of physics dictate his will inescapable.
