Do u like when Daylight Savings Time ends ? 🤔⌚

Hello ladies and gentlemen. How are you doing on this beautiful Election Day.
I heard that Daylight Savings Time was supposed to come to an end this year. But the latest news is that it is still in effect. And that the government bill has been stalled. So as of right now the show must go on. What do you think 🤔 Should it stay or should it go.
I like the fact that it gets dark early during the
Fall and Winter. Do you ? Comments. Best answer will surely win..☺️🍁

Changing time twice a year sucks, in so many ways. There are greater number of auto crashes, and other similar unintentional consequences. This may have been a clever thing during WWI, but, that was a long time ago, totally archaic now.

@samueltyler2 Hmmmmm.

From what I read, the bill that stalled in the house is to make daylight saving time the permanent option. The … what is it? …american academy of sleep or somesuch says biologically it would be better for us to just do standard time. I just think it would be nice to quit changing back and forth. I don’t mind the fall back, but the spring forward murders me for about a week. 🙄😅

@Zonuss The reason began during our pre industrial time. When people needed daylight in order to get things done and it was to maximize the day that's all and later the same concept was used to bolster retail spending.

@REMsleep Yes we know the story. Or at least their version of it anyway.
But I sense there's something deeper going on behind this. My gut tells me so. 🙂

@Zonuss what is your theory?
It should go…I don’t like when it gets dark at 4:30
Zonuss · 41-45, M
I'm all for permanent summertime where I live. Maybe permanent wintertime is better in other locations, but changing twice a year doesn't really help anyone and only causes distress so that part should definitely end.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@NerdyPotato Explain the distress.
@Zonuss many people need several days to adjust their biological clock to the new physical clock. It's like a mini jetlag twice a year.

i personally like daylight savings. i like that it gets light out earlier because of it
Penny · 46-50, F
@Slade i think its the opposite? lol. i cant figure it out. it gets light out earlier though i am pretty sure
Slade · 56-60, M
@Penny should have said stays lighter shorter.

We are now in EST
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Penny Shorter days long nights.
Stay warm. 😊
REMsleep · 41-45, F
No it's stupid and I don't agree with it never have. I mean that switching back and forth is stupid.
