What u think of when u hear the word November? 🤔 🍁
Do you think November Rain ? Do you think golden leaves ? Do you think World Series ? Do you think turkey ? 🦃 Or maybe you think about pumpkin pie. 🥧🥧🥧
November is here. It is hard to believe I know. What do you think of when you hear the word November. Best word wins. 🙂
Here in Newzealand it is spring going on Summer in November. I usually think if how close it is to christmas. Also we have guyfawkes day here on 5th December where people set off fireworks.
November is mild and cold. Golden leaves but bare, sunny but rainy. It’s neither here nor there if I’m honest. When I was a child November was proper winter like. The one thing that never changes is the smell in the air, fireworks, bonfires and the excitement for upcoming Christmas.
@Zonuss if you have a kohls, in the past years theyve had some spectacular black friday deals. last year i got a stainless steel cuisinart pots and pan set at like 70% off the regular price and the year before that two cotton quilts for like 60% off teh regular price lol. like 33 dollars for 100% cotton queen size quilts. excellent prices. cant even do better pre-owned really and they were brand new and very nice.
I think my November is changing as I always thought of it as ugly before and the last couple years I’ve seen beauty in it. Cold still comes to mind, though. The first cold that comes after warmth always shivers the bones a bit more. I think of brown and orange. Pumpkins. Darkness as the days are short. Anticipation as I always have an eye toward December.
I think about Thanksgiving and also think I'd better double check and make sure I have Christmas covered... I hate that last minute present buying thing.
Prostate cancer awareness month. (It's a Norwegian thing) The irony is that regularly masturbation or sex helps prevents it, but this month is also called no-nut-november in a lot of countries (if not most)
I look at the picture you posted and I think about how Native Americans are not Indians and how Christopher Columbus has been give the boot.... and how it most likely wasn't a Thanksgiving anything like we might have been told....
And I think about the sound of leaves under my feet... and the cold.
