What makes the world go around?
Didn't you know, the earth is just a massive gyroscope, every meteor they're just winding it up again.
Besides gravity. Good people that do kind acts. If the world was bad it would be destroyed by now. No holy intervention needed. It’s more good then bad. That why it’s still here.
According to the Powerpuff Girls, it's love.
Generally those who are underpaid and under appreciated. Think trash haulers, file clerks, migrants-legal and not. Sex. And lots of it. Sex makes babies, which means more people (workers, leaders, soldiers, etc.). And people pay lots of money for sex which means more economic activity.
Nowadays? Online validation. Everything is online validation. People exist if they have repercussion on the internet.
Everyone in the whole world takes one step to the left. Money makes the world go round, but what makes the world go straight?
Money makes society go round. Not the world. You can live a whole life in the woods with no money and possibly be happy if you can manage to not be alone the whole time. You'll never enjoy any comforts of the modern world if you chose to go this route though.
It's only considered a bad measure of success by those who already have it because they feel their lives are inadequate because nobody's paying attention to them.
It isn't necessarily a bad metric, it's just that people often feel their value as human beings in the eyes of society is too entangled with their profession/income when everyone is more than just their job. It's a very simple way of looking at complicated creatures, but if that's what you value above all else it's the right way for you to measure the world. Some people will take offence at that but it just means yall have incompatible worldviews.
Money makes people chase after it like they are crack fiends. Money makes friends stab each other in the back. Money makes decent men sacrifice their dignity. I hate money and how enslaved we all are to it.
