If you were a child in school during the 80s then you probably did. The creator of the Trapper Keeper passed away in his home state of Georgia. His name was E Bryant Crutchfield. Mead made well over 100 million dollars per year when this product came out. It's a binder type of notebook with a strap up seal. Folders on the inside. It was so cool. I had one. Did you. 🙂

My daughter got one in grade school like in 5th grade and then when she went to middle school the school banned them. I don’t know why. She liked hers. Oh I remember why they banned them. They had Velcro on them and the teachers didn’t like the noise they made when the students were opening them.
