What is the only thing that matters in life?
What is the one thing you want most from life?
This could be an intangible such as abstract happiness. It could be a nice family life. It could be the discovery of dinosaurs. It could be a yacht. whatever it is, let me hear it; I'd love to know. Your relationships with family and friends. At your death bed your greatest regret will be not spending more time with your family and the people who matter most . Your pursuit of material wealth over experiences will be a close second regret. I don't care if I become a millionaire, I care that the people who know me benefit from our relationship. Your good name is the most valuable thing you have during your short time on Earth. I hope I leave this place better than I found it, and the people I know happier that they knew me.
Agreed. I had some nice me-time and I really realized that you only have one chance at this life, and being happy with yourself will let you be happy with what else the world has to offer (even though sometimes it doesnt seem like much).
My goal in life is to increase the net amount of love in the universe. Thus, my friendships and interactions with others and any opportunity to show kindness, is what matters most to me in life. Nothing has brought me more happiness then being kind to others.
I honestly never thought I'd say this, but my kids. I didn't want kids, the husband did. Then he went and died, and now I"m single momming it. They're about to do their first flight alone, to go see their uncle for a week. I am going to be a sobbing pile of goo when the little one hugs me bye and walks onto to the plane. I'm asking men who have a stable career and are financially stable, you don't have to worry about money or a career anymore so what really matter to you in your life? What makes you happy and what do you live for?
