What's a painful but valuable lesson you learned thus far in life?
What is the most powerful and/or painful lesson you have experienced so far in life? What did you learn, if anything at all ? What’s the hardest life lesson you had to learn?
Or what’s the best thing you’ve learned in life so far? I think my hardest was the realisation that people don’t act/love/have the same morals as you.. and expecting them to behave the way you would, only leads to disappointment. Some people just have no morals. What are 20 harsh life lessons everyone should learn in their 20s? What was the hardest lesson life has taught you so far? What is the hardest lesson life has taught you about love? What is the most helpful and important life lesson you have learned so far? What's the biggest life lesson you had to learn on your own? What has been the most painful life lesson(s) in your life so far? What are some painful/hard but important/valuable life lessons that you've had to learn? What life lesson did you have the learn the “hard way”? What is the most painful lesson you experienced and you wish other people to avoid? What is a difficult life lesson you had to learn as an adult, but could have avoided if somebody would have taken the time to talk to you about it when you were younger? For me personally, I feel that the most painful lesson I’ve learnt through out my life is learning to appreciate/value people before they are gone. Throughout my life, everyone has been too nice to me and I have taken them for granted. However, the recent break up I had gave me a wake up call, especially when I look back at our relationship, it shows how badly I handled the relationship and treated her so badly. It forced me to reflect and see that I cannot put myself at the center of the relationship all the time. This is the most painful lesson thus far, losing someone I thought I would want to spend the rest of my life. Thank you for the lesson. What is the most difficult lesson to learn in life? What is the single most eye-opening thing that you’ve ever learned? What has been your most eye-opening experience?
For me it was when I did a poverty simulation for a week and actually lived as a homeless person on the streets. It was pretty amazing to see how it is and what hardships they go through that most people don't even think about. So, tell us your story.
