What would you think of a guy who got mocked by girl because he bought her cheap gift, who is at fault the guy or girl

Is price of the gift more important than thought?
It depends. Imagine all he ever buys her is cheap stuff and he's rich .-.

The meaning, thought, and love behind the effort is what counts. If he cares, he'll try within his meand to do something out of love for her (if she's worth it). Gauging this varies and people value different things im different ways but in general, it would make sense if he was poor or the gift was meant to be meaningful and was a very emotional, deep gift that was cheap or something quantifying its depth. However, he could be a loveless cheapskate. Who knows. Maybe she is ungrateful 🤷🏾‍♂️
Lots of possibilities

I think the gift is more important than the price tag. If someone accepts a gift and then complains about what it may have cost, they didn't deserve it in the first place. I would tell her to shove off.

Yes, it matters if he's so obsessed with going to the gym, going out with friends & has everything going for him and all he buys her is a $5 greeting card and a $12 box of chocolates.

I think it's nasty for a girl to mock a guys gift based on price, it is the thought that counts.
@Sutten you’d agree with her comment ? @sexyjigsaw

@mysteryespresso It is the thought that counts, its not just about receiving gifts. Independent women dont need a man to buy them gifts, they spoil themselves.
