If a man says hello to a woman...is this sexual harassment ? 📚

Well if you are the hard core Liberal indoctrinated, modern , feminist, then it probably would be. Last week we were assigned to unload a commercial long distance truck at a university. Before we began our duty we were told not to say hello or engage with any women on the site. There were about 20 male workers in all. Half were Black the other half White. We started our job and the day went good. Note while we were working women in the apartments there were saying hello 👋 to us the entire time. They were saying things to us. They were smiling. They were naking comments. They were also a few women workers there who seemed to be very comfortable there fixing up the building for remodeling. They were with a different company. And at the end of the day a couple of women called us to their cars as we were leaving. Two Caucasian girl's...the guys they called were some Black dudes. My fellow coworkers. They asked them for directions to the swimming pool around the corner of the building. They were new and we're about to start school there soon. The they asked us if we wanted to join them later on. Hmmmmmm. See where this is going right. So what do you make of all of this. The site manager said a week earlier a few girls there told on them and said the guys were harassing them. Hmmmmmm. Comments. What do you think about this whole situation and the whole me too movement energy out there today. Best answer wins. 🤔

Your manager provided direction to protect you and your peers and to mitigate risk for their company. This is typical from what I’ve experienced.

I’m a hard core liberal feminist and I don’t think men that say hi to me denotes sexual harassment. The additional rhetoric, innuendos, flirting in a professional setting could be perceived as harassment. When in doubt, err on the side of caution, regardless of the sex of the people involved.

Unclear on what race has to do with this scenario.

I support me too, it was long over due.

@Jinxie Race can and has been a factor in these types of environments. History has proven this to be so..

@Zonuss I’m unclear on how race plays into the scenario you described, I am aware of how some have a bias and racially profile.

@Jinxie Because it always does. If you were Black you would understand. 😊

@Zonuss You’re correct, I am not. Apologies if I offended you or others, not my intent.
