Counselling has helped massively.
And repairing the relationship I had with my father.
I talked to him about a lot and I also presented my truth.
It was so freeing.
And quite the eye opener to him about the reasons why we fell out.
I'm still kind but I'm a little wiser now and understand that some people just aren't my people and that's OK.
Yes we live in a world where people make it seem like you can't survive unless you're apart of something but actually it's the opposite.
Those people are the most stressed, anxious and confused in society.
Yes I have my calmer deposition due to my antidepressants but it's kind of needed especially since there are so many people focused on using "psychology" to manipulate and undermine others.
It allows me to pause and assess what's happening without the anxiety, yes I may write about it but being able to articulate what's going on is far better than reacting in fight or flight mode.
