I awoke at midnight and seemed like anymore sleep would be a ways away.
So I decided to have a look at the fields for the horse races at Belmont on Saturday - which is now.
I have not had a bet for about a month.
First race, I never back favourites, selected a horse having it's first start. Paddy's Lad. Odds of 20/1.
I placed a bet this morning and you know it.
Paddy's Lad won easily and paid $22.90 for a win - $4.40 for a place.
My bet was $5 each way. Return for $10 - $136.50
