Why did/did not you get the vaccine?

What’s surprised you the most about the pandemic? How are you feeling after the second dose of the COVID vaccine?
To the healthcare SLPs who got the vaccine, how are you feeling? I woke up this morning after receiving my second dose yesterday with bad chills and a low grade temp. I was able to make it into work after taking some flu meds but ended up leaving early. I have a bad headache, achy, fatigued, and low grade temp. Hopefully you guys aren’t feeling it as bad! How did you feel after the second dose of Pfizer? Please include your age! I have an exam two days after my second dose and I’m nervous I won’t be well enough to take it! I would love to hear about your experiences!! I’m 19 so I guess it could be worse for me? Anyone else have a very bad reaction to the first shot? I'm kind of nervous to get the second.
I'm in group 3B and finally got my vaccine appointment. Got my first dose of the moderna vaccine, and after about 16 hours the side effects kicked in and I felt ridiculously horrible. I had bad chills, a 102 fever, very painful body aches and no appetite for like 3 days. I've heard this can happen if you already had covid before getting the vaccine (I had it back in early December) and is even worse on your 2nd dose.

First dose of astra zeneca gave me such a bad reaction (was sick for a couple of days and my arm was inflamed and I could not touch it or lie on that side for over a month, and some pain I got was worse than I've ever experienced) so I didn't have the second one. But the second one was offered to me nearly a year ago! I know that Pfizer reactions are supposed to be not as bad as astra zeneca. I had a booster last year but wasn't even given a card to tell me which vaccine it was 🙄 I think it might have been Pfizer and that wasn't too bad, nothing like as bad as the first jab.
Why did I have it? A lot of it was pressure and being told I wouldnt be able to get it otherwise.
But covid seems to be rife where I live now and yet the rules are more relaxed than ever (because not so many people are dying from it)
