Does Absence make your heart wonder or grow fonder?

I’m not happy if I am away from my hubby for more than a day .

Absence may give you time to clear your head.

In many cases all the edges soften with time and I do forget the uncomfortable and the bad parts. My brain adds in good where there was none. Positive motivations on their part that never existed. I grow fond of the embellished memories.

It helps. But not all the time.

As my sainted grandmother used to say, Abstinence makes the hard grow fonder
