Is it worth it to start prepping?

Everyone thought the preppers are crazy,
But with the food prices going up and food shortage in Europe, it's very worrisome.
Some people are already prepping for the worst! Russian invasion of Ukraine making food inflation worse as wheat prices surge, food and oil prices will hit us all hard in the coming 2 years

I do not know what I can do. Yes I could stock up on non-perishables, but there is a limit to how many perishable food items I can buy. And I only have one tank of gasoline to fill in my car. I do not own other gasoline containers and would have no safe, legal place to store them anyway.

Let us just hope that wages rise to match the rise in costs. And that the increased demand will increase production of goods, stabilizing inflation.

I actually saved a lot of money the past two years, by working from home. I ate out less, and drove less. I brewed my own coffee and prepared my own lunch.

You’re not wrong,
Ignore those who mock. Their families will suffer for their ignorance. I live on the Gulf Coast and we stayed prepped for having to spend a few weeks without electricity or things like ice or water. Food very low on shelves. I think it’s a very good idea to learn skills and store dried food, get manual tools. 👍🏼
