What has shocked me the most is that the biggest Country on the Planet with an extremely large military hasn't been able to conquer a Country that is slightly smaller than the US State of Texas.
Or that an armed Citizenry is proving to be quite capable of fighting a superior foe.

@dakotaviper If you were expecting Russia to go full Shock and Awe you have not been studying Russian war tactics. That is a profound difference between the US and Russian tactics.

@hippyjoe1955 Shock and Awe is definitely not Russia. They use people like cannon fodder. Just like they did when going after the Germans in Stalingrad.

@dakotaviper That is the common narrative. They have not suffered all that many casualties and they prefer to encircle to encounter and give the encircled a chance to surrender.

@dakotaviper Neither is the US when you consider the thousands of people it has killed in its many many many wars. The US killed 4 Canadians by sending up a pilot who was high on drugs.
