How much was your rent when you first started living on your own?

I’d very much like my independence but I would have no savings after that and buying food and bills
Rational people don’t
Fortunately my parents understand
When I even bring it up to them they’re like “Don’t be crazy, it’s so expensive, we don’t mind”
So at least I don’t feel like a burden but I’d still like my space and I’m sure you feel the same

@JRVanguard of course I feel the same. I used to beat myself up for not being able to afford it. I don't know why? Lol
