How long do you let your car run

Before going somewhere in it. If it cold out I can see to help get the ice or snow off. But I see some people they just want it warm as soon as they get in So it runs for a half an hour out there.

@Jonjdw snow very rarely, ice a bit more frequently, but not much this winter.
