@Elevatorpitches I know, there are many like it and it usually results in traumatic relationships. I know what works for me in a relationship and i am completely comfortable not settling for anything else but yes, i am a weirdo lol

@Elevatorpitches Being alive is easy, staying alive is hard. Some days i wonder why i bother but i am stubborn lol

@SW-User Fully agree. One of the worst feelings is feeling lonely even when not alone, specially if the relationship is toxic. Either one thinks himself as the victim or the insufficient one who's value will never measure up to the other's expectations.

@TessDun This is so true! I was married for 15 years and every day i felt so happy and connected, then one day my wife said she was leaving and i remember for the first time in my life feeling completely alone even though she was still in the house. Then i went to visit friends and still felt alone. I do now too, but it's still way better than like you described, being in a toxic relationship.

@SW-User That must be a challenging time for you adjusting from being with someone to living alone and feeling lonely, even when surrounded by friends and family. Or worse, sometimes societal or family expectations can make one even more sad. So best to protect our energy and enjoy our own company and loving life.

@SW-User I am like u, alone and afraid and no idea how to change this now and absolutely no one to be with in the real world and I am pretty old, but never a monster can suffice...
