What is your opinion on yearly car state inspection

Some states only require to be inspected when you buy it.

Some states don’t have any inspection at all some states are every two years or every three years.

I am for it. You would not believe some of the unsafe vehicles on the roads today. Driving is a privilege, not a right and part of that is the responsibility needed to keep a vehicle properly maintained.

@ClassicRocker @Fluffybull what about states that don’t do it. If it was so bad every state would be doing it.

@Jonjdw That's the responsibility of the state to make it a law but it does not and should not be a reason for the vehicle owner to ignore the road worthiness of their own vehicle.

@ClassicRocker where I live the roads are second worst in the country. They’re saying around here in my state is that it’s OK to not have the roads worthy for my vehicle but my vehicle must be road worthy on the road.

It a scam in my state we know it. I used to take my vehicle to a place that didn’t even look at it.

And a lot of other places in my state just make sure the tires are good and the lights work.

Remember nothing is as it seems.

Just like in my state there’s a law of family medical leave act
Yet in my state an employer can fire you for any reason. So that law means nothing here
