Where do you get your news? Non-vaccinated truck drivers have to quarantine for 10 days if crossing the border. Last I read 93% are vaccinated. Yes, the industry is short staff already by about 10000 truckers (and no doubt why, if you look at what is asked of them in scheduling etc), but this is not the great shutdown. A better thing to bark at politicians about would be real estate costs, me thinks.

@hippyjoe1955 Well let's just say a 7% loss in truckers is not going to cost the same as the amount of cost in housing over two years. Now if you want to talk about them being cumulative losses for the average person, and how life is becoming un-affordable sure. And it would be a politician who has every meal made for him, along with a servant to buy those groceries that would make winter that season to enact such measures. And by the way, I am personally against vaccine mandates.

@thewindupbirdchronicles Considering we start out 17000 short. Now we just lost 20% of Canadian trucks and 50% of American trucks. You really need to get a better grasp on the severity of the situation. Entire industries will soon be shutting down.
