The militant atheists and Islam haters on this site really make it a toxic environment

How hard can it be to be a decent human and respect others?

I don't mind talking and conversing honestly about things, but they make it difficult for some kind users here to ise this site peacefully. What a turn of events when they claim religious people are oppressive as they constantly try to demonize amd demoralize people who did nothing wrong.

It's the disingenuinity and double standards that irritate me. I welcome any honest felt opinion, question, discussiom, or view but you have to quit the deception and lies.

To all the people who are content with respecting others and do not go out of their way to lie, try to demoralize, and slander others, thank you for making this site a more positive experience. Maybe you don't agree on everything but you learn and benefit from taking the good of ehat everyone has to offer

@Babylon Oh just a couple hundred years ago atheists were set on fire for being atheists and currently they can be beheaded or stoned in theocratic around the world.

I agree that in some places that atheists will be persecuted by a corrupt regime but it goes vice versa now, too. Hopefully we can all progress towards proper peace and unity

@Babylon But it doesn't go vice versa. There are places in the world right now that atheists are killed for being atheists. There is no place where atheists have killed the religious for not being atheists.

You've set up a false comparison, whereas I agree to being respectful, this isn't a both sides issue and certainly not an equal sides issue.

@thisgenericnamehere no, that's not true. Are you denying that China as an atheist/secular government is doing this right now to Muslims? They have killed and are ethnically cleansing the place of all religions. They're an oppressive regime which banned religious apps, Bibles, Qur'ans, Torahs, you name it. They have put specifically Uyghurs in internment camps where they're being forced to renounce their religion and be forcibly integrated into an atheist society. The women are being raped by atheists to and the married couples are being separated. They are forced to eat pork.

I don't deny that there are some places where the government claims to follow Islam that persecutes atheists. You certainly can't pretend atheists don't do this to Muslims, too

This is why I specifically avoid sweeping generalizations. I prefer to be accurate and say some secular places

@Babylon China isn't doing it being they are atheistic though. They are doing it for ethnic reasons it's horrid either way but let's be specific here.

Stop trying to pretend that atheists can't be bad people, man. The truth is evil atheists exist. Even if they are ethnically atheist, it is still forced atheist violence and oppression against religious people. There is no distorting that, dude. This is as specific as it gets
