What are your thoughts on living off-grid?

@Keepitsimple even more important will I have a garage for my Mercedes. cringe thinking about leaving it out in the winter

@markansas sinful to let snow get on it. our garage is heated to keep them comfortable

@Keepitsimple Wifi is easy to setup with satellite internet. Costco? 😂 That's a good question. The only off-grid houses I've seen are in remote areas outside of the city limits.

@saragoodtimes Not there yet . at least i put the hard top on and when it snows brush the snow off of it the next day. this is not a car to drive in the snow . or mud . or real rainy days . all motor and very little body. now on a sunny day and the top is down . wow . makes up for all the others. @TheArbitrator I’ve thought about living off the grid but I think people get really weird when they cut society off. I wouldn’t mind mini vacations though. I’ll call a satellite company, lol.

@Keepitsimple dish for wifi and costco buy in bulk . i drive 300 miles to denver and have costco card. it pays for my gas. 12 cans of coffee cheese ect.. also a friend i see twice a year. you can do it however like one said here . YA BETTER BE HEALTHY for its a long drive

@markansas I don’t mind driving at all and especially if I don’t have to kill and clean my own meat, lol.

@Keepitsimple and your health is ok i hope. its a bit of a adjustment and worth making i think. less people to see and when you do get together its because it 4th of july and everyone is happy

@Keepitsimple in this little town it does.. i like my running water so i will keep it .water trash are together for 50 a month. and no rent so as soon when i finish my project no electric bill. that i can afford. grin

@Keepitsimple i am a democrat in a republican area. its what i could afford. retired and somewhat healthy. the rent in denver for a apt one bedroom is over 1 grand. you do what ya have to do to survive . thanks tho.. have a good nite
