My mailman came to my mailbox with a hacking cough, coughing into her bare right hand.
She deposited my maill with her bare right hand and walked away, hacking into her bare right hand. I'm old and sat in my comfy warm chair in my comfy warm house, looking out at the frozen world and wondering if it's worth the trouble to disinfect my mail and mailbox before bringing in the mail. Wondering if I should just leave my mail until spring. Wondering if I should ever again be interested in mail.
This kind of stuff happens everywhere. You just happened to see this incident. I was at a fast food store days ago. They have touch screens to order. I watched one man sneeze heavily into his hand and without wiping his hand he preceded to use the touch screen with the dirty hand. Happening everywhere. If you have spray disinfectant, use that on the box and on the mail each time you collect your mail.
@Peaches Disgusting they are. When covid first appeared all stores were diligent in their cleaning. Including McDonalds. Now they don't give a stuff 🤷♂️
Oh! 😖 I'm so sorry and don't blame you for feeling this way. It's a scary world right now. I pray for us all. 🙏😔 May your guardian angel surround you with the white light for protection. ✨💞😊
I hope that she was wearing a mask... wearing a disposable glove wouldnt make a difference... please sanetize the envelopes and your hands after you get them.. or wait for 3 days before you do...
The virus dies after 24-hours on paper, so they tell us. Bring it in, and leave it somewhere for a few days. Just wash your hands thoroughly after touching it.
