@Dlrannie Asked by a woman and best answer from a woman.Great role reversal.👌
Military history is not just for men.

TJNewton · M
@tallpowerhouseblonde What about female russian snipers ?
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
@tallpowerhouseblonde Absolutely not just for men by any means 🙂
tallpowerhouseblonde · 36-40, F
@TJNewton I know the one you mean but don't remember her name. The woman that holds the record.
There are women Kurd sniper teams because when a Muslim is killed by a woman they believe they do not go to Paradise.

@tallpowerhouseblonde I admit I know very little about military history.
TJNewton · M

tallpowerhouseblonde · 36-40, F

@tallpowerhouseblonde The most successful female Soviet sniper was Lyudmila Pavlichenko with 309 confirmed kills

@Dlrannie She was so deadly.I knew you had posted the question but didn't look for the answer. That is cheating.

@tallpowerhouseblonde because they ran on Gasoline instead of diesel
tallpowerhouseblonde · 36-40, F
@TexChik German tanks had gasoline engines too and they were unreliable. They would not start in very cold weather even the lubricant froze. It's Russian tanks that were diesel powered with a simple and reliable design, wide tracks to go over snow, simple wheels that did not get mud and snow in like German tanks, easy to manufacture while German tanks particularly Tigers were far too complicated and took too long to build.
TexChik · F
@tallpowerhouseblonde I thought the tigers ran on diesel.
tallpowerhouseblonde · 36-40, F
@TexChik Nope.Definately gas.In the battle of the bulge German forces even tried to capture U.S. fuel depots of gasoline to keep their tanks going. They failed.
