Does anyone here work in a big supermarket with a security guard and CCTV?

This might sound paranoid but supposing a really attractive girl is a regular at the shop and the security guard really likes her, what's to stop him obsessively observing her- step by step- every time she goes into the store?

Even worse, if she uses self service checkouts, in the UK there are now able to see every thing this attractive girl buys.

This means that over time he'll be able to build up a profile of her, which he can then use to stalk/harras/gaslight her.

Are there any safe guards in place to protect this really attractive girl getting stalked by the creepy security guy every time she goes in the shop. She's really attractive but it's actually a hassle for her with all the unwanted attention she garners from guys. She's got a lot on her plate right now and she really doesn't need this.

@SW-User oh yeah, my bad, AFAF
is this a fetish
@Jm31xxx im pretty sure that consumer trends are not used by security guards however, they are mainly used for marketing purposes, its not like every employee can access them ,just as there are limitations to every workplace . I know specifically tesco tracks what their customers buy so that they can specifically recommend those products if they are missing from their cart when shopping online. Its something automated ,mostly worked by algorithms rather than people so idk how you could come up with that

@PepsiColaP wait this is nothing to do with surveillance just to determine customer habits. As far as I'm aware in Tescos (cuz that is actually the shop I'm mostly on about) the security guard who is at the front of the store in front of a podium with monitors can follow any customer about the store remotely and on a Whim.

But you seem to know a lot about this so can I ask, is it only the security guard that can access the CCTV (and VERY IMPORTANT) is he the only one who can rewind footage of her to watch her stroll about the store again and again????
@Jm31xxx I dont know anything about surveillance other than it is used to track customer behaviour and placement of products inside the store and member cards are used to track consumer trends to upsale. Thats all . But I would imagine that even the surveillance activity is tracked
In my new job I have 500 people under me.

I'm a security guard at a cemetery.
