Thank yoh for being vaccinated

Omicron figures stabilising and even dropping off in UK. Thanks to the vaccine we didn't return to the dark days of last Christmas. To all who are helping to get society ever more on its feet by acknowledging the efficacy of vaccination...thank you.

Don't bother replying to this if you're a conspiracy theory loving anti vaxxer. Thank you, I am not wasting any energy engaging.

It is looking good. Vaccinations have helped keep people out of hospital and the Omicron variant appears to be much milder. Maybe,just maybe,we are on the way to it being endemic instead of there being a pandemic. We can live with that.

@comfi1 My feelings exactly ...perhaps the first real stride to proper herd immunity. Which we would be nowhere near if the anti vaxxer morons were in charge.

Every member of my family is fully vaccinated. That's why we could do our annual Christmas gathering this year; whereas we had to cancel everything last year.
