If modern times living forever doesn’t seem to appeal to many people. 🤔

We're living longer but we're not necessarily living better.

I'm sure in the Middle Ages when life was short and also pretty terrible for most people, the idea of living forever had a lot of appeal. Nowadays, people who talk about living forever (in, say, the "metaverse") are derided.

Let's face it.. if we were wealthy and stayed looking young.. we'd be more inclined to want to live a few centuries more at least. Hookers and blow can go a long way at improving one's will to live.
