@Lilnonames Or the reverse. There is a supermarket that removed all its hand-carry baskets, forcing you to use a bigger cart so you will buy more. There are only certain items I want from there and primarily only because it is a convenient stop on my daily route. So if I stop, I take in a re-usable bag and won't buy more than can go in the bag.

@Lilnonames Using the re-usable bag as the hand-carry also saves them having to ask if I need a bag. I unload it on to the conveyor belt and hand the re-usable bag to the bagger.
