Isn't it our differences that make us unique?

Do you march to your own drummer? Can you say, "I yam what I yam and that's all that I yam," like Popeye? We are more than ourselves but the more one can be himself the more noble he becomes to the rest. It's funny in a way that the more you are just you the more important you become to the rest. They will seek your comments to check themselves to see if they are on tract or just to hear a different view. And sometimes they'll check to make sure they are not like you. And that's ok. None are perfect. It's validation like that that's needed so you will know you are not just another face in the crowd , simply a body count of the flock.
A just man causes the devil more affliction than a million blind followers. Gibran. Can you see through the religious overtone of that statement? Don't join the lynching mob seek due process. Be fair. Think. No matter how we got here, by grace or natural causes we have the ability to reason. It's more than opposing thumbs that separate us from the rest. Embrace the differences. Be happy for another's difference because that's how we learn. No one has said I wish I was just a little bit dumber. Many have said I wish I was like him but they don't mean exactly like another..
Acts of bravery are done by scared people. I can't remember who said that other it was a marine officer . Who said it is not relevant here just the truth of it.
For me personally I yam what I yam and that's about all I can stand. I could probably get a witness here but that ok. Not necessary, I'd probably keep count and somehow alter myself to gain their approval. And start using words like baa, follow the one with the bell, he's the smart one or he wouldn't have the bell, besides the rest of the flock are. That's why I like this site we are different as the day but we accept that, we seek that here. We need that difference. The bigger this site gets the better we become. The differences become our pearls of wisdom.
