To me, it was because, growing up, school started the next day.
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@melissabraces Great point!!!
SubstantialKick · 36-40, M
It was depressing for me as a kid because I had school the next day, and as an adult because I have to go back to work the next morning.
PrincessVelvet · F
Because you have five consecutive days of work ahead of you ☹️
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@PrincessVelvet That could be a large part of the equation.
chuck7882 · 61-69, M
@PrincessVelvet @ProfessorPlum77 pretty much for the same reasons you feel happy on Fridays
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@chuck7882 Plausible. 🤔
I understand. When I feel that way, I get outside. I make a fire, then cook something over it. You just have to find something that helps. It gets dark early, and it's cold. We find ourselves inside more often, and there isn't much to do. I hope you find something to make you happy.
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@Anonymused I watched a few humorous video clips. That seems to help me.
@ProfessorPlum77 Check out LaughPlanet on YouTube. They compile clips of comedians doing standup or TV shows. It's really funny.
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@Anonymused I will check it out.

Maybe because Sundays tend to be quieter, and slower? Gives you quiet time to reflect, even if it's only in the back of your mind. I think that's what it may be for me. Honestly you probably know better than me, experienced a few more Sundays than I.
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@AmbivalentFriability You make some perceptive points.
Mindful · 56-60, F
Because you have to go to work? Sunday= Ice cream
Monday= Dropped ice cream cone
Monday= Dropped ice cream cone
Fluffybull · F
Do you live alone? If so it could help if you plan something on a Sunday where you get out and see people. Even just a coffee and some shopping.
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
@Fluffybull Thank you. I usually do get out on Sunday.
Lilnonames · F
