How about some old fashioned courtesy!

I think none of approached a site like this with expectation of the rules we live by in real life. Having said that, would it hurt to have some old fashioned courtesy?

Example. This week I spoke to someone whonwas fun and sexy and we had a very good couple of days chatting. She has subsequently ignored my messages, which I know she has seen as her green light is only on when she is there, she told me this. All of this is absolutely fine but I would rather someone said, I don't want to talk for a while...I hope you understand etc.

It's not really that difficult and take a short thirty seconds to type. Come on guys, be kind!

In SO many places and ways courtesy seems a forgotten virtue.

Maybe one of the problems is impatience.

So many of us have become snared by the relative ease, high speed, efficiency and reliability, and the spurious immediacy, of modern communications, etc. that we forget we cannot always have what we want immediately we want it by merely pressing [Enter] or seeing it in some on-line catalogue or time-table.

Then naturally but very regrettably fall into extending the same unrealistic expectations to our fellow people.
