@JimboSaturn it doesn't have to be more fatal percentage wise to be very problematic though. It spreading 5 times as fast makes it cause more fatalities even if an infection is only 1/4 as likely to kill you as Delta. Furthermore, death isn't by far the biggest risk. The real worry is a combination of permanent disability making the social security system crumble and hospitals getting overwhelmed, making other diseases and issues way more fatal than they are outside a pandemic.
