Who cares what a bunch of mountain rednecks do?
Nimbus · M

curiosi · 61-69, F
Israel with the highest vax rate had the highest number of covid cases. Faucci admits the vax doesn't work etc........ It's evil as it's about population control.
TheConstantGardener · 56-60, M
@curiosi Israel has low hospitalisation rates due to high compliance with vaccination.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@curiosi worked well for Vermont too didn't it?

boasting about how they were the most vaccinated state, now they're the state with most cases...
curiosi · 61-69, F
@wildbill83 Where as Florida banned all mandates, no restrictions and has the lowest.
Nimbus · M
@AbbeyRhode Control of the masses at any cost?
revenant · F
They did not make the flu vaccine mandatory and yet every year hospitals were said to not being able to cope every winter with severe flu cases.

And every year there are always excuses to not put more funds into the health department

covid vaccines are now mandatory. You are bullied into taking something you might not want. And there are more and more so called vaccinated people ending in the wards.

It has nothing to do with vaccinations but rather a proof of compliance.
revenant · F
@4meAndyou yeah not all countries have enough jabs to spare at the moment. My parents have had to take the booster otherwise they cannot travel etc after December 14
4meAndyou · F
@revenant I hope your family stays safe and well.
revenant · F
@4meAndyou thank you and same to you
Adstar · 56-60, M
Well Austria was the country that produced the dictator Adolph Hitler so it is not surprising that it has introduced this fascist dictatorial law..
Nimbus · M
@Adstar I had thought of that too.
Great minds etc ;)
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@Nimbus as did I
Elessar · 26-30, M
They have areas with vaccine coverage as low as 40% I've read. Sounds like the only viable option. The alternative is continuous lockdowns.
Nimbus · M
@Elessar Thus a 'dictatorship' is OK as long as people are saved?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Nimbus Except I see no dictatorship here. Having a ~20% (in Austria apparently more) of the population hold hostage everyone else by triggering unnecessary restrictions and disrupting service to me sounds worse and liberticidal than not granting freedom of choice for a matter that shouldn't be a choice in the first place.

Eighty years ago people were sent to the front to fight (and potentially die) for their nation, they couldn't choose, and nobody speaks of the 40s U.K. or U.S. as "dictatorships" because of that. Now we're merely asked to spend 15 minutes to go take a shot that in the great majority of cases will potentially extend one's lifetime and not the other way around.

It's just that the concept of "greater good" has gone down the sink over the years.
Nimbus · M
@Elessar An interesting thought 👍
smiler2012 · 61-69
{@nimbus] 😆 well look at it this way nimby it is mildly better that been mandatory in united kingdom to be a manchester united fan
Nimbus · M
@smiler2012 Desperate times calls for desperate measures Smiler 😄
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@smiler2012 He is feeling weak and delusional - a couple of wins will bring him back to sanity
Nimbus · M
@nedkelly Either that or 10 losses for Liverpoo :)
TheConstantGardener · 56-60, M
All because infection rates rise sharply because people refused vaccination.
Nimbus · M
@TheConstantGardener This is the crux of the argument!
TheConstantGardener · 56-60, M
@Nimbus That's right. Which is more important.
The man who sacrifices his liberty for security shall have neither. @Nimbus
I’m sure they’ll reopen the camps they still have there from the 40’s to inter the non-compliant
People will be waiting for the knock on the door to be arrested and carted off to the mass vaccination centre for the naughty people.
Compulsory medication is the way forward,.....next you will take this thought control pill.
Nothing suspicious here...
The population will be controlled ...
1984 has arrived in the country of Hitlers birth..they haven’t learnt anything.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
the country that gave the world Adolf Hitler...

So no, they're not exactly a shining example for everyone else to follow... 🤔
Nimbus · M
@wildbill83 Exactly and look how that enveloped the world.
Nimbus · M
@Justmeraeagain 😛

Public opinion is bitterly divided by this ;)
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Nimbus I know 😁
SW-User
I think they won’t have any issues. Austrians as a nation are very obedient to law.
Nimbus · M
@SW-User That's a point but this might be a test case for it to expand all over the world.
4meAndyou · F
Are they putting those who refuse to be vaccinated in the Gulag? 😁

Biden is trying to do the same thing, regardless of the courts ruling against him and OSHA...AND we've got not one but TWO former card carrying communists nominated to be in charge of our banks.

I guess you could say authoritarian a-holes suck.
4meAndyou · F
@Nimbus By the Stasi? By the Luftwaffe? Bombs and guards and guns and beatings? Geez. I hope that's just for the government who is trying to enforce this...🙄
Nimbus · M
@4meAndyou
Those who refuse to take it should have their movements “controlled and restricted
I hope they don't mean 'bowel' 😆

I'm guessing this will be a test case for it to expand worldwide if it succeeds.
4meAndyou · F
@Nimbus I propose the government be dosed regularly with laxatives...🤣🤣🤣
Nimbus · M
Medical tyranny
Exactly. Never let a crisis go to waste @BizSuitStacy

@Stereoguy Unvaccinated people have 15 times the risk of hospitalisation compared to the vaccinated. The greater is the pool of unvaccinated, and the sooner one country's healthcare system will collapse.

Countries with a very high vaccination rate aren't seeing hospitalisations surges, those that have a low one are seeing critical situations no different than 2021 / early 2021.

That's why should be made mandatory and that's why it shouldn't be a personal choice. No different than how driving drunk isn't a personal choice either, because it impacts others, that aren't the individual.
