Gibraltar - 100% Injected, 40% Boostered Now Imposing Restrictions

Xmas now cancelled due to rising "cases" The injection doesn't work and segregating ppl that don't have this injection is abhorrent (even if it did work tbh).

You mena you don't want it to work, don't want anything that might show it does work, and don't want anyone to understand how inoculations do work..
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@ArishMell It isn't too difficult to see that the Covid 19 vaccines are NOT working as promised, and your desperate, sweaty strawman responses do nothing to change that reality.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@SumKindaMunster I am not desperate, I do not suffer from undue perspiration, I have no idea what "strawman" means if anything but it's irrelevant anyway...

.... and...

I have been vaccinated against several serious diseases, I take an annual Influenza inoculation; I did not refuse my two main SARS_CoVid_19 inoculations, my booked booster vaccination is next week, I have obeyed all the plague regulations and restrictions - and I know that any inoculation greatly reduces the risk of serious illness, not totally removes all risks from the same illness!

Yet I am still alive and in generally good health. Strange that, isn't it?
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@ArishMell Ok, so because you are fine, that proves that the vaccine works?(that's a strawman argument)

In your mind, you not getting Covid is proof that it works?

I have a magic amulet that protects me from Covid. I haven't gotten Covid so that's all the proof I need to know the amulet works. (that's called specious logic)
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@SumKindaMunster I'd rather take my chances with something that on balance has proven rather more likely to work than jewellery, but your original remarks suggested to me that you are determinedly anti-vaccination.

Not only for yourself but for everyone.

Not only too for Covid but by extension presumably also for Polio, Tetanus, Diptheria, Tubercolosis and Influenza (as I have been inoculated), plus Smallpox and Rubella.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@ArishMell it's a choice. You crack on with getting injected and leave everyone else to make their own minds up on what to put into their bodies
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@ArishMell Whooosh! Right over your head....

I'm actually vaccinated for Covid, and its clear to me you don't know the meaning of "specious logic" nor a strawman argument and my attempts to elucidate you were in vain.

I'm fully vaccinated and don't have any issues with those that choose to also get vaccinated. My issue is with forced mandates, and disallowing individual choice for a "vaccine" that is clearly not working as promised.

Send me a postcard from the land of denial when you have a chance, won't you?

Toodles! 👋
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@gol979 Of course I leave everyone else to choose for themselves - but far more have chosen vaccination than not; and booking the booster shot is not easy because there not enough places hosting them.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@ArishMell Yep...that's whatever it is you are talking about for ya.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@SumKindaMunster I've not encountered compulsory vaccination. Maybe they have that where you live?

Compulsory lock-downs etc., yes, and I agree they are unpleasant and the lock-downs have had serious economic results.

I deny nothing though, and no-one has ever said vaccinations against any disease totally prevent becoming infected and possibly being infectious in turn.

Life is full of hazards, and it's matter of minimising risk from them as much as possible; but that impossiblity of 100% certainty is not a reason to do nothing at all.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@ArishMell that's my point. People are being punished about choosing what the put in their bodies. Time for ppl to stand up against this, regardless of medical status
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@ArishMell
I've not encountered compulsory vaccination. Maybe they have that where you live?
Yes, there is a vaccine mandate in the US, although apparently it's been put on hold for now.
I deny nothing though, and no-one has ever said vaccinations against any disease totally prevent becoming infected and possibly being infectious in turn.
Maybe not in so many words, but again and again, we have been told that getting vaccinated is the way to end the pandemic...you believe that?

We have been told getting vaccinated will prevent you from getting Covid.

Neither of those things are even remotely true.

I don't disagree with this, but I can't help but roll my eyes at your ignorance, how are you on this site and completely clueless about the massive propaganda campaign to get vaccinated against Covid 19?
gol979 · 41-45, M
@SumKindaMunster not a peep in the corporate media that the courts have blown the disgusting mandates apart. Sneaky fucks using OSHA to try and get this through
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@SumKindaMunster Oh, I see, so you accept we are in a massive panedmic but regard trying to understand it and defend ouselves, our friends and familes against it as wrong?

There is one thing that has struck me.

A robust exchange of opinions on how to counter infectious diseases, between we non-medicals on a chat-site like this, won't achieve anything in the real world, but we can take confort from that.

For we are not like those we've seen in the UK, picketing school gates to try to intimidate the childen and staff into being anti-vaccination. One reckoned they want to do that to every school on the country, hardly likely or possible, but the journalists do not seem to ask their motives, nor for whom. Maybe some of those campaigners don't know either, but they must have no sensitivity to any of their victims who may have lost relatives or friends to Covid.

No, this is another strawman argument, and I said nothing of the sort. A strawman argument is where you ignore the main point of a person's position and cynically change it to something else as a way of demeaning the other person's argument or to make your position more plausible.

I noticed you completely ignored my questions and statements and wandered off and rambled about some things that must have made sense in your head, but after reading them 3 times, I can not see your point other than to just share your stream of consciousness with me.
