Anyone else a confirmed public-transport user?

I have a dozen reasons for never having wanted to drive.

Thank you for "Best Comment"! That was very kind of you. 🌷
Trains are so wonderful! I can read a book, I can play with children, and maybe I will meet a nice gentleman – while traveling!

@helenS One of my favourite books is a rumination on trains and their great stations, by our former Deputy Prime Minister, a confirmed Asperger-y trainspotter type. I'm somewhat of a transport enthusiast myself, my special interest is subways, I was in my element working at the Office of Transport Security.

@UpForItNow Trainspotting and bird watching - wonderful hobby horses! I live by a lake, and there are many birds here. Birding by ear is beautiful, especially in spring when they they start mating.

@helenS In Canberra I can spot kookaburras, wedge-tailed eagles, powerful owls and peregrine falcons.

@UpForItNow Oh I remember those kookaburras! 🤬
(Shortly before I was in Australia, my then guy had left me, and in Brisbane it seemed as if those birds would laugh at me all the time.)
