There was a Rory Calhoun Western -- I forget which one -- that had every Western cliche known to man in it. Finally, towards the end of the film, the camera shifts to the mountain range and Indians have quietly taken up positions totally surrounding the wagon train. The theater broke into applause -- some standing -- for finally having exhausted every cliche.
